Please note that this fee includes $95.00 payable directly to Upper Canada WILLS for the marketing and promotion of the member program to CARP members together with the use of the CARP seal to identify our discount. The balance of $450.00 is paid directly to the Lawyer providing the estate planning service.
Note that this significant discount in fees was negotiated by Upper Canada WILLS with licensed lawyers offering estate documentation via virtual meetings between the lawyer’s office and their client’s home. In the event that separate or supplementary estate documentation is required by the CARP member, an additional fee may be negotiated directly with the Lawyer who will be preparing the estate documentation.
+ Due to a change in legislation in Quebec, notaries are required to see their clients in person to sign Wills & Powers of Attorney. As such, the applicable discount is amended to 25% off the National Average Rates. The fee for an Individual will now be $770.00. Please note that this fee includes $95.00 payable by CARP members directly to Upper Canada WILLS for the marketing and promotion of the member program to the CARP members and the royalty donation as part of the CARP Benefit. The balance of $675.00 is paid by CARP members to the notary doing their estate documentation.
